Risk & Compliance Specialist

  1. Compliance Program Management: Develop and implement a comprehensive compliance program to ensure the organization operates according to laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  2. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks, such as financial, operational, and reputational risks. This includes developing risk rating criteria and maintaining risk registers.
  3. Auditing and Monitoring: Conduct regular reviews and internal audits to evaluate compliance with laws, regulations, and internal procedures. This also involves monitoring key risk indicators (KRIs) and tracking action plans.
  4. Policy and Procedure Development: Create, update, and enforce company policies and procedures to align with best practices and regulatory requirements.
  5. Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports to management and regulatory bodies on the organization's risk and compliance status.
  6. Training and Awareness: Design and deliver training programs to educate employees on compliance policies, regulations, and best practices. Promote a culture of risk awareness throughout the organization.
  7. Investigations: Lead investigations into potential breaches or incidents of non-compliance, and manage the corrective actions.
  8. Regulatory Liaison: Act as a point of contact for regulatory bodies, managing communications and responding to inquiries and reporting requirements.
  9. Risk Assessments: Conduct periodic risk assessments to identify new threats and opportunities that could impact the business.
